its in greece – greece is located near italy in the meditarrean sea
its a beautiful place with many many islands around
capital of greece is athens
greece is also famous for santorini(the island create by volcano lava and the most beautiful sunset in the world
also famous for parthenonas and the olympic games
super easy actually, I took the train from athens to Kalambaka, one of the most memorable areas of my five month trip. It takes a couple hours to hike up the mountains, or you can take the bus. I highly recommend just walking to all the monasteries and enjoying the view.
Greece in general is stunning, the islands etc. GO NOW!!
Absolutely beautiful. My daughter once went to a place like this to visit her friend’s cousin and said it was absolutely divine. Anybody know where I can buy tickets?
First ,you have to buy tickets for Athens and then you must take the train to Kalmbaka (http://www.ose.gr/).This place called Meteora and its near Kalambaka!
there is a part of the ocean very close to greek shores, where it is forbidden by the greek government to go scuba diving for one reason. over there, it is theorized that the sunken island of Atlantis is at the ocean floor. google it if you want.
ps. no, there are no mermaids, aliens ect… in atlantis. but there might be ancient greek documents and gold.
My mom lived very close to here, in Trikala. I’ve been to Kalambaka and it’s beautiful! There’s also this super cool room filled with skulls and bones in one of the monestaries.
I am incredibly awed at this picture! It would be so interesting to visit this monastery. The journey all by itself might even be better than the destination!
I’m a christian from India’s North East. I want to make the pilgrimage with my daughter to Kalambaka monastery. Can anybody help me how to find my way out there in cheapest way. God Bless You All.
Perhaps we could sojourn in a convoy of the holiness ascribed to us by God. I hope to visit India this decade,, if you are ever in America please contact me on Youtube searching: Environmental provocations

You actually misspelled the town name. It’s Kalambaka with an M. The name comes the Turkish word “kalembak” which means beautiful fortress.
